There's no tree, no gifts, no lights, nothing at my house. I came back from the shelter for a merry-less Christmas. Whatever. At least I'm in college now and comparatively free from my mother. The ones I love are safe, and my enemies are quelled for the time being. As depressing as my current situation could be considered, I'm rather optimistic about my future. I need money, you guys. Badly. And because (for now, anyway) I'm still too proud to actually beg for money, I'll take a different route. I found something here in Portland where you can sell books and clothes and get cash. So, please, please, please, please, if ANYONE has any lightly used books or clothes for me, PLEASE NOTE ME. So I posted on my skype status that I'm making cookies, and I immediately get a message from one of my friends saying 'omg what's wrong? do you need me to come over?' Had a pretty solitary Christmas ourself. I didn't even put up a tree; I just wanted the stupid holiday to be over. (Though Mir, Mac, and the kids got me a present anyway... trans manga. I admit, it was a pretty cool gift.)
